couple last minute aod questions........pics

so i got this nifty carb adaptor to go with the tv cable. what i want to know is how the heck do you guys think it goes on?

the other is the way i have the cable on the tranny, it wouldn't fit the hole it was supposed to go into, so i'm gonna use the old bracket instead. i prolly call lokar tomorrow.anyone else have this issue?

he eric, is the bottom hole on the adapter oblong shaped or is it just the picture? if it is actually oblong then that part needs to go on the butterfly shaft part of the linkage, otherwise i don't have a clue. is the adapter for the demon or a holley? if it is for a holley you may need to get one that is demon specific, but i don't know for sure exactly what parts are interchangeable betwen demon and holley. shoot me an email later and let me know how it's going. good luck bro

Don't know about you carb adapter. But on the tranny end of the Lokar setup you can ditch the factory attachment (rusty thing) then the lokar lever replaces it and you bring the cable around the back so and the bracket bolts to the 2nd pan bolt from the bracket.

i'll have some update pics today.

i plan to have the fmx, steering, and exhaust out and every all ready by the end of the day, i'll even have some pics.


i also want everyone to know that i'm not running a shifter rod, but a cable.

Isn't the Rusty thing the selector lever? you are going to need that.

On mine, the cable looped around and came in from the back. The Lokar TV lever pointed down, and the braket you have bolted tot he black bracket bolted under one of the pan bolts.
