I know that due to the relocated spark plug on the p's you are supposed to use a GT40p specific header. However I recall some people saying that if you usea shorter sparkplug and 90 degree boots you can use other style headers with the p's. So my first question is will I be able to use the BBK unequal length shorties I currently have or will I have to change to the GT40p specific headers? I figured that I would ask before I went off and bought the heads and then had to go get new headers.

Also any of you guys happen to know what the valve sizes are on a set of GT40ps from a 98 explorer?

Thanks

Go to this website and it will answer all of your questions. I have the GT40P and I think for the money they are the best head in the market. I picked up almost 50 HP these heads.
