I'm slowly doing some mods to the '92 and I'm replacing sensors as I go. My first question is regarding the O2 sensors, which I will be changing out when installing my Bassani X next weekend. I already snagged a couple of new Bosch units, but I need to pick up some anti-sieze for the O2's and the connecting hardware for the X so I can switch it out every year. I want it to be as painless as possible when inspection time rolls around. There are a couple of ones I'm looking at, and the repair manual I have says to use "O2 sensor safe" anti-sieze. I was looking at either the copper, 1800F stuff, or the "normal" silver 1600F stuff...both Permatex brand. They are both the same price, and I was going to go with the copper for the exhaust stuff. Will both work with the O2's ok?
Second question is about the ACT sensor. I know I need some sort of thread sealant for the new one. What's good stuff to use for that?
Third question is regarding the coolant temperature sensor. Can this be changed without draining out some coolant? If so, I'll just wait until I overhaul the cooling system later on this spring. Also, what's a good thread sealant for this sensor as well? Same as the ACT?
Sorry for the simple questions, just want to do it right the first time.
