I was going to bid on that one, but it passed my budget by last night.It isn’t Craigslist, but it is a Dallas auction scheduled for June 22. This is the whole car, but it has no title, key and parts of the transmission are in the front seat.

I hear ya. I had an itch all day too. If I was looking for something to start a project with, this would have worked. Alas, Im saving my pennies for heads. It sold for $650, which means including tax and probably buyers premium, it might be closer to $800. Plus towing, rental or whatever, another $150 or so. Either way, someone got a starter project for $1000-ish. I had Googled the VIN on it and found some interesting history on it that I'd need to see the buck tag to verify.
The short version is, it's almost certainly a Cobra II, and quite possibly a King Cobra.
No decals, but it had previously been listed on Ebay as a King Cobra, and was in a more complete state at that time.I hear ya. I had an itch all day too. My brother in law shared this with me yesterday. Only one pic and no description. Part of me wants to go take a look, but the other part of me says I have way too many irons in the fire.
