New ad in Huntsville, Alabama - asking $3k.

Seller's Description

1974 Mustang street car. Runs, drives, and stops. The car has a built 302 with a lot of other goodies (in description). I’m thinking around 400-450 horse power. Also comes with 1200 dollars worth of parts including new black carpet, cobra floor mats, all new tires, dash piece, 15 quarts of hot rod oil, oil filters, oil pan, rubber oil pan gasket. At some point JB weld was applied to the oil pan and it’s holding up but got all new stuff anyway. All it could use is some straight pipes welded on and a paint job if you so please. My loss is your gain ole lady needs a new daily driver ASAP. $3000 cash or trade for a nice daily or truck possibly.

I think it might be more like 125-150. Can't quite tell on what heads he's running, but I'm guessing either E7s or Explorer GT40s at best. No mention of the cam specs, but he DOES have "hot rod" oil.....

It also includes lung damage and corrosive fumes! That battery box is not meant for an interior. The core support is butchered. That fan is not going to cool anything. It also includes a high volume pickup. Whatever that means. All that and a 10 gallon fuel cell. You can maybe go 100 miles before you have to stop to breath healthy air..err umm refuel. That roll bar looks like it's bolted to sheet metal.

Yeah no. Hard pass.

That new voodoo magic angled plug stuff these kids come up with now days. Gotta be worth a hp, maybe even 2 horsepowers. Those are so rare I have 6 or 7 sets in the barn.

Other center on steering wheel is interesting
65 mustang shifter knob leaving only one lone fake woodgrain on brake

Front seats and rear seats are not a match. But yeah it looks good.
On the King above; I think its supposed to be a 78 not a 77.

In all honesty, I think that the front seats might be out of a Maverick. I'm 99% sure that the horn button - if not the complete steering wheel - is.

There were a few good parts from what you can see in the pics, but the car as a whole is way too far gone for most anyone to consider buying it as a project imo. Motor mounts, exhaust manifolds, bell housing & flexplate, grill & header panel, pop out windows, tail lights, maybe the one remaining louver, spoiler, and door panels..... but that's about it.....

The big question is if that stuff is worth the money and hassle. Maybe it is to someone.....
