How easy do you think it would be to swap a 2.3t motor into 1971 510? I'm buying one from my buddy for 800 bucks later today. Its got the L20B motor wit h duel side draft webbers. I've driven it before and loved it but was wondering of the possiblity of swapping a fuel injected turbo motor

as in a old datsun 510? Probably not too hard, you would have to make some motormounts, and do quite a bit of wiring, Add in an electric fuel pump and return line, but 2.3t with a t5 should fit in it. the one major problem i see is shattering the rear end gear. car wasnt made for that much power.

Pretty cool old cars. They used them in rally rally-cross and road racing quite a bit.

Datsun 510's are really popular to swap turbo rotaries into, for some reason. But yeah they're pretty cool!
