So I state it as much as I can, and i'll say it again, but I love to see interior work. Creature comforts and changes for the better. Problem is, there are very few I've seen with our interiors.

I've seen the LED gauge cluster swap, the double din stereo, and recaro seats. But I want to see something more.

Whenever I google for things like this, I only come across threads of our interiors swapped into foxbodys which isn't all that exciting or unique or relevant to an sn95. So think custom electrical work, new seats that aren't so common, rare interior parts that aren't the fr-500 wheels (if there are any), unique rear seat deletes, switch panels, custom gauges, and so on

So the few members chilling in the 5.0 sn95s post up your interiors or threads you know of!

I'll start with some things I found that I thought were cool or rare
Cleanest double din unit I've seen http://www.mp3car.com/show-off-your-project/79784-95-mustang-custom-dash.html

Here is a targa top stang, kit made by JMS, type 2, (it's a partial interior mod) comes with glass roof I believe (I would do it!).

That seats in the last link look like 03-04 Mach 1 seats. Those are pretty nice looking IMHO.

I have an FR500 steering wheel in the Cobra that I dyed to match the tan interior. I'd post up a pic, but it recently started to flake.

My '02 GT had nothing custom, but it was very, very clean. I can post up pics when I get home if you're interested.

Probably is a mach 1, l pulled it out of a thread talking about swapping dashes from an sn to first gen mustang. But those seats still look great.

Post pics of both, Fr500 is still cool and clean interiors are great to see
The only other sn interiors I see these days are at the junkyard with leaves in them.

Here's the steering wheel. You can see where it has started to flake.

My Dad bought this car brand new and then I bought it from him. Satin silver with charcoal grey cloth interior. He took good care of it and I continued that tradition. It had over 112k on it when I took these.

I loved the interior on that car. I want to eventually convert my Cobra's interior to charcoal grey. I've never really been a fan of the black/saddle, and everyone else always does black when they do a custom interior.

I prefer the charcoal gray, and the peanut butter interior has to go. If your coloring comes out good, I'll follow after, and maybe do the mach 1 seats. God that would look sweet!

Another interior mod I've seen is the steering wheel out of some other ford car will interchange with our steering wheels, the difference is that this steering wheel had light up blue cruise control. It looked great, but I also can't locate the thread (it also matched that led-blue light swap).

mine isn't too unique yet. did the LED swap, white face gauges, and autometer C2 gauges. have some neons under the dash to illuminate the footwells as well as 2 LEDs in the screw holes of the center console shining down on the shifter. AFM ashtray switch too.

Here's Jonbeat from sn95forum's cinnamon interior he had done:

then there is the extreme of onebad95's interior:

saw this at carlisle couple years back. i'm pretty sure above the shifter is air ride controls:

Deleted my console for more of a muscle car feel. Had to trim off the dash level where it normally comes down to meet the center console.

Added a custom push button start to the right of the steering wheel that you can see in this pic.

Added a 3 spoke wheel for more retro feel, but unfortunately had my door skins off in this pic so it doesnt give the completed feel it had.

I was pretty proud of my interior and how different it was from the norm. Every mustang guy that saw it in person always complimented the creativity of it.

Edit: I have to caution anyone that decides this looks cool and wants to go for it. There is a small control module of some sort under the head unit that I relocated (if I remember right it was for the Mach 460 sound, so I pitched it completely). There is also some bracing for the dash I cut away and welded two small pieces of round bar in to support the dash. Without this the whole dash shimmies, and the steering wheel bounces when you hit bumps. It wasnt just as easy as pulling out the console and slapping in new carpet.

I looked up the price for mach 1 seats, from TMI products they're 1100 for a full set. Find them online used, they're still 1100 full set...So there goes that idea for a few years!

I've done the LED swap too and the HVAC, been considering the neon strips but I haven't decided if it would look tacky or cool. It depends I guess.

What do you use your AFM ashtray for?

And onebad95's interior is a little toooo much for me. The rear seat delete, only two seater idea is neat though. and the dash speakers.

I've seen the console delete in foxbodies and it looks great. I never thought it would look good in our cars, but you proved me wrong. It looks gorgeous, and yeah that is the 3rd amp for the stereo system underneath there.
I aspire to have this clean of a car

Your steering wheel is pretty cool too, probably cut a few pounds off our huge wheels. Really looks nice with the floor shifter.

Here's one of my vert. The back seat feels like a couch. We take it to the drive-ins and enjoy the show.

Now THAT is an interior!:O

Bullitt95
I've seen people swap out different seats a few times before, for a sportier look and wait reduction. Great find

Thanks. Those Cherokee seats are very comfortable on long drives, have much better lateral support for hard cornering, AND have a combined weight of 24lb less than the stock Mustang seats. The manual seat track conversion to the driver's seat shaved off a further 6lb.
The rear seat delete saved 30lb, the lighter steering wheel (no airbag) saved 5lb, and removing the knee bolster reinforcement plate saved 2lb so my total weight reduction just from interior mods alone was 67lb.

There is a ton of money in my interior.. I prefer factory looking stuff for the most part.. When someone sits in my car, they have no idea nothing is original, but if you sit in a regular SN95, you realize there's a huge difference..

And NOTHING beats an FR500 wheel.. I won't own a mustang without one..

Nothing wrong with a good fr-500 steering wheel. It's sweet lookin, are those the same diameter as stock?
For the most part I usually hate painted bezels because they stick out too much in an unfactory or weird way, your silver panels came out great though!
And I love that custom housing for the speakers on the floor/wall by the feet. That's what I'm talking about. Neat work turbogt.

They are the Summit brand seats. Not gonna lie, they creaked and were not very comfortable. The old saying "you get what you pay for" comes into play for sure.
