Alright, I'm looking at buying a set of these and was wondering if anyone has run the AFR 185 58cc (or similar heads). I'm looking at setting up a blower/turbo on my car this coming winter, and have heard good things about these heads from other people, but was hoping to get some more opinions. Any good/bad stories, or other recommendations, would be awesome. And yes, I am pretty new to the whole car thing, learning as I go with this one

Right now my engine is totally stock, have full exhaust and 3.73's in the back, but would more than likely do a pretty full bolt-on/cam/intake fest when I put these on.

I am running those exact heads w/ upgraded valve springs...good head. I think everyone else will agree. If your gonna go blower/turbo you may want to consider the higher cc combustion chambers. but it also depends on your piston, etc. I run a ford graphite headgasket, flat top pistons and the 58cc chamber heads and I have a 10.78:1 comp ratio. Not so good for a F/I setup.

I agree about the cc of the combustion chamber. If you ever step up to an aftermarket piston, your compression ratio will be a little high for forced induction...unless you run race gas. As for my choice in cylinder heads...See sig :D
