LOL... It's already louder than I'd like. MUCH louder than I'd expected. I do have plans of swapping out the catted X for an off-road while I'm here in the land of no smog inspections. That should a be good for a few more decibels.

I kind of miss the deep low rumble of the h-pipe at idle but man... that x-pipe at WOT is just badass.

Yeah might be the camera not picking it up well, mine did the same thing.

But if you have no emissions get those cats off. I have emissions and although I failed it two times, still refuse to run cats. Long Tubes, no smog and off road X for me !

Thanks!

I can't take any credit for the engine build itself. Rick 91GT (pictured above) is the builder. He spent a HUGE amount of time and effort making sure that things were right with the motor. He even ended up having to tear the whole thing down again after having it all together when he noticed that DART had changed the way they sent their blocks. Back to the machine shop it went to get corrected. He's got a hell of a lot more patience than I do . lol

So thanks Rick! I think we have the bullet proof long block that I was looking for!

The block and internals should be good for 1000+ HP. I doubt that I will ever have the need to get it up that high but who knows A pair of turbos might one day find themselves in place of the Kenne Bell.

I'll get some more recent stuff posted up when I get back... some pics of the motor in teh car with the KB mounted etc...

The rockers a still a bit noisy for my taste so I gotta pull the KB back of and maybe go another quarter turn or so to quiet them down.

If it comes down to valve float vs. rocker noise though... I can get use to the noise. hehe It shouldn't be a problem... I intend to set the final rev limit to between 7500 and 7800. I should be able to find a nice in-between setting at those revs. It's just a pain in the arse to have to pull the KB to do the fine adjustments on the rockers. Thus, the need for the intake indicated in my sig. hehe

Heeeeeeeell Noooooooooooo.....

We all know how women drive!

They're all getting 4 bangers with two cylinders disconnected.

Not really. hehe but no... none of them are getting my car. I would like to find another 86 in great condition that's bone stock for my oldest two girls. I'd even put this KB on it when I go to turbo once they learned how to drive and were good at it. I'll just have to wait and see how they do though... that'll determine who gets what. ONE of my girls will be getting a Fox in good shape... just don't know which one yet.

Putting any of these girls in this car the way it is now though... they would die in the first year. lol Putting the pedal down in any gear will break the wheels loose (I'm working on that eliminting some of that).

Oh! That reminds me!

Can one of you chop geniuses make me up a set deep dish 10 holes so I can see what they look like?

I do like the sleeper effect. I've been kicking around the idea of going with a Saleen kit. I go back and forth all the time. If a set of 10 hole deep dish will give me the look I want then who knows... I'd still have to find a way to make them 5 lug... my braking system has got to go!

Ok... thanks.

You're probably right about the cost though. It would make allot more sense to get a much better looking rim for a lot less money.

I'm sure you've seen my Magnum 500 chop? I love the look of those wheels on my car.
