I'd thought about the smoothies before. They'd also look really good. They're old school looking too. I'd def go with the 17s though. I think he's got 21s on the pic above. LOL

The pics were taken at Rick 91GT's place. The video was done in my garage here jsut a few nights ago in response to someone asking for a sound clip.

The heads are AFR185s. I'd considered doing the 205s but also wanted to remain backward compatible with emissions. After talking with Rick and he conversing with Ed Curtis, I decided that the 185s would be my best bet.

All forged internals, zero balanced, 327 Stroker. ARP throughout and studs where they could be applied. RR are 1.6 ration Trickflows. Springs are upgraded from what comes with the heads in order to deal with the Kenne Bell. Hardened pushrods, deep oil pan... Am I forgetting anything important?

Oh... Billet STEEL flywheel. I know I know... Rick wanted to go aluminu too but teh steel has the charactersistics I was looking for in a DD and I also didn't want ot have to install a scattershield.

thought u were doing a 363 stroker? you have a very similar combo to me, minus the custom cam, which i'll be getting this winter. sounds pretty sweet

Nope... no 363. That option was never a consideration, that I remember. I figured that if I were going to spend the $1800 on a bare block, that I'd ensure I had the largest number of overbores left in the block if I ever needed them.
