I'm gonna call them in about 45 minutes, and I may have to get bitchy. I was having three things fixed, and two of them were finished Tuesday, it's been waiting ever since for the third. LOVELY. Damerow keeps my car for two extra days, finally drives it today, and says "We don't think that's clutch chatter, we think that's just noise you can hear because of the aftermarket shifter."
Great. I think this is the last time I take my car to a ****ing dealer. I guess I'll pony up the thousand bucks to fix the clutch chatter out of my own pocket. Or maybe it'd be more economical to sell the ****ing bitch and get something else. Jesus H. Christ, you can hear the chattering OUTSIDE the freaking car, how in the hell is THAT caused by an aftermarket shifter???

I want no hug from Bill. My '95 is missing an intake, throttle body, and EEC right now, so it's not going anywhere...ASD said:

Now I'm feeling pissy. First thing I noticed when I got back in the Cobra is that it weighs a thousand pounds more than the rental I was driving. Feels like a sled. And all the way home the damn A/C vents were rattling as loud as they ever have. I did stop by Fred Meyer though and picked up some weather stripping, so that's a problem I think I can solve. I can solve the clutch problem too, but I'm pissy about having to blow so much money on it...
It'll be all better soon. I'm going to get my tune and 2.76 back on, and then I'll forget about all the bad stuff. Maybe a KB 2.4 would help drown out the rattles...
