What is the major difference in dampners. My car has the 50oz from pepboys but I feel a small vibration. I just installed a 671 blower on the car so I don't need the vibration. Will a pepboys 80.00 dampner work for me or do I need a fuild dampner? I still have a few items that I need to finish the car so I hate to spend the 300.00 dollars on a fluid dampner if I don't need one.

If you have a roots blower on that puppy I would get an SFI certified balancer. Mine is from Ford Motorsport. You've got thopusands invested into your motor (looking at your sig), why scrimp on a few hundred dollars? Personally (see other current threads about this) I would not use Pep Boys/AutoZone/NAPA/Advanced/etc. brand parts on a high performance car, and your's certainly falls into that category.

I just bought a Dart 347 stroker block also, so if its vibrating now wait untill the new block.
What brand should I go with and what should I pay. I was thinking of a Ford 302 351W 50oz HO Pro Series harmonic balancer for 150.00 or a ROMAC HARMONIC BALANCER SFI 50/28 OZ 302/351 for 210.00 or SFI Race Billet Steel Harmonic Balancer SB Ford 302 EFI for 180.00.

Or can I use any sfi race dampner?

I'm asking the same question in the other topic I posted called "help with dart block/balancer
I bought a used/new 347 kit from a person and they don;t know what the balance is on the crank? I thought all 87 and up 302's used the 50oz balance? I need help.
