i hate it when people never use periods or commas its really annoying when they seem to deliberately avoid ever touching the shift keys for fear of making a capital letter i mean that would at least make it easier for people to distinguish between the end of one sentence and the beginning of the other it makes it all look like its all a single eternal runon sentence i actually run out of breath just trying to read crap like that oh well i guess ill just resort to doing what everyone else on the internet seems to be doing nowadays and pretend that i am making a deliberate effort to demolish the english language with every post that i make oh wait i forgot i have 2 use shorthand 4 every other werd and deliberately misspell certain werds because itz kewl 2 spel like a freakin moron

(I think that I just lost 10 IQ points as a result of typing that out.)

I also hate the lack of punctuation and run-on sentences.

I am a member of several other car forums apart from Stangnet (Porsche, Corvette, Mercedes) and this is the only forum where I see such bad grammar. I find it funny that many on this forum make fun of how the ricer's talk but I don't think it is justified when those same people sound like a bunch of rednecks. Hell, I can make more sense out of ricer jibberish than this guy.

It's perfectly justified... We're just as likely to make fun of poor grammar and punctuation in our own ranks as we are individuals from rice central.

Oh ok , I was just stating an observation. You should have said "as we do with" instead "as we are" because it sounded like you were refering to the people on stangnet.

If he would have put a comma between "ranks" and "as", then there would be an issue. It was actually worded right. 2 stars for Daggar!

Stating that "you are" something in one instance then stating that "you are" something in the next is different then saying that "you do".

I think what threw you was the contraction for "we are". The same type of thing often occurs when folks try to figure you whether they should use the word "I" or "me" in a sentence. The trick is to break the sentence down into its two main parts then use the word individually without the contraction. That then will determine if a contraction can then, be used.

The sentence above contains no suggestion that "we" (members of Stangnet) are ricers with the exception of the one that "you" (that's you) perceived. lol
