His jets are going to have nothing to do with how the car idles. The main and secondary jets are different circuits from the idle circuit which controls fuel delivery at idle. If your problem really is too rich at idle, then a jet change wont help any.Try screwing the things in all the way, but other than that, I'm not sure. How does the car perform off idle.

yeah, the prim have nothing to do with idle,i tried it for the hell of it anyway a while back.No problem at all with performance,no bog off idle, performance is good.I havent tried the screw all the way in test yet, somebody else said that. What could i check if this happens? Im gonna try to adjust the butterflys again and tighten idle screws in a little more to maybe a half turn.I cant keep smelling that odor, thanks

It could just be that the Demons are performance carbs and therefore not lean designed. Is it a vacuum or mech? Also I'm not sure if the power valve could be wrong. What kind of vacuum are you generating at idle. If you dont have the correct power valve for your combo it may be opening to easily and allowing gas in. Dont quote me on that though, lol. Call demon and ask them about your condition. Also if you dont have any smog equipment then your not going to clean up any of that excess gas.
