Dennis is Coming!

Cat 4 Hurricane Dennis is on the way. We plan on riding it out wherever it makes landfall as we always have. But this really gets old after awhile, preparing the house, pool, and yard. We also have to secure our boat in a shallow bayou w/4 anchors and a 302 block. Any thoughts? Hurricane parties?

Yeah I did I had to leave my baby outside. I put a car cover over here and hoped for the best and nothing happened to here but the battery died. It was parked for only 4 days some thing stayed on but other than that thing happened.

Well, I haven't been on here in a while so I'm just reading this thread now.. Anyway, I was out of town on vacation (and my college orientation) from the friday before till the sunday after Dennis hit. We had several people call us while we were away saying that a tree missed my car by inches. Here are a few pictures we took when we got back. There's a scratch on my hood and some on my trunk, but my car is safe. I got lucky.
