Wow, do you do 10k clutch drops at every light? :D
BTW, You haven't been postin as much as you used to. Good to see you back man
naw, i rev to like 15k and slip. :D i actually do drive pretty hard though. not really launching, i never launch on the street, but i do shift hard, and a lot with my 4.10s.
yeah, ive just been busy with work lately. plus ive adopted the "screw it" mentality and have been partying a lot more.
sorry for the hijack

Okay, so I did the Steeda setup (Adj. cable, quadrant and firewall adjuster). Install was pretty easy (a couple hours inc. a break for dinner), hardest part being getting the rear part for the stock adjuster off (stupid spring!). Clutch release happens much earlier now in reguards to the travel of the pedal, however the effort seems a little stiffer...is this normal for the Steeda adj. cable?

yeah the aftermarket quaderent will make it a little stiffer.. I know you don't want to hear this but you need a shift fork and pivot ball.. been there done this 1000 times on a lot of mustangs. Any time I do a mustang clutch the customer is buying a new pviot ball and clutch fork or I don't install it.

You're right...I don't want to hear that, but I kinda had a feeling I would end up dropping the tranny out. I'll be doing the Tail of the Dragon again in 2 weeks which is pretty much 2nd and 3rd gear all the way so hopefully it should hold up thru that. Then I can spend the rest of my vacation under the car :bang: .

Thanks for all the help guys :SNSign:
