Diagnostic Code 565 Canister Purge circuit failure

Ok, I search but did not find anything on this one. This code deals with the Evaporative Emissions Control System and it stores fuel vapors that evaporate from the fuel tank, TB and intake manifold in the charcoal canister. Also, there is a canister purge regulator valve, which purges the fuel vapors into the combustion chambers to be burned during engine operation. The service manuals says a bad regulator valve can cause poor idle, stalling and poor driveability. From the description of the code, I assume the regulator valve is bad.

Now, I do not smell any gas fumes. So I ask, has anyone gotten this code and what did you do about it?
