Did you guys know that our throttle response is electronic, versus the cable in previous year stangs. You cant even rev it up from under the hood. Thats why our cars dont have that kick when you step on the gas. It needs to build up. I heard you can change all that with a few mods and a tune.
 
It's called "Drive by wire" and while it's new to the Mustang, it's on a lot of vehicles these days. The Corvette C5 and C6 have been for some time. There are very few problems with DBW - The only real issue I have with it is that there is a lag in throttle response - particularly when letting off the throttle - the throttle does reduce, but not to am immediate idle setting. Supposedly you can adjust that out of the car with a Tuner such as a Predator, Xcalibrator or Sniper (and others)..

Yup! A good tuner can tackle the ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) and get the lead out. No delay with the loud pedal now or on the deceleration. Doug at Bamachips does great work!
