Did you guys see "Pinks" Wed night on speedchannel?

There has been some pretty ****ty shows that have shown up on speed in the last few months. Honeslty, ever since speedvision turned into speed channel it has been swarmed with Nascrap, bullcrap shows, talk shows, etc. I hate it. I only turn to speed nowadays to watch rolex 24, le mans series, 24 hours of daytona, F1, and WRC they few times they come on; which isnt often.

Hey man, what's wrong with Nascar? The entire 5 car team of Roush racing made it into the chase (Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Carl Edwards, and Greg Biffle). Not bad considering only ten cars get in. Kurt Busch won it last year, and Kenseth won the year before that. It's Ford domination! I never liked Nascar much. Then I started watching last year a couple races before the actual chase started, and I watched the rest of the year. I'm hooked now. The new system has made it a lot more exciting than it used to be. Every race is huge now. Especially now that there is only ten to go. All the points are wiped clean, and the top ten drivers that made it are fighting for the championship. Hopefully I can make it down to Dallas next year for a race. My uncle was in the pits at the first Dallas race this year. All the people that are supposed to be in there have ID's on their necks, but most of them tuck the actual ID part in their jersey pocket. He bought a Ryan Newman jersey, and one of the shoestring deals that the guys have their ID's on, put the end of it down in his pocket, and stayed in there the entire race without being questioned . He talked to Ryan Newman's mom, and a couple other people. I forget now.

I watch Nascar. The RACE (which I tivo and watch later to skip commercials, long yelow flag stretches, etc.). The rest of the stuff on there is NASCRAP. How much hype can they spend on Dale Jr, especially since he's not done anything? And they repeat these Nascar shows Over and Over and Over again, while they have a single showing of real racing, like WRC (which used to be shown over 3 days in 1 hour segments, now it's down to a single hour and a half) Australian V8 Supercars (the best series available on TV - I hope they show it again this fall. It's what Trans-Am should be!), and so on. They jumped on the Nascar Hype and are exploiting it. THEN, to top it off they broadcast Joe Ronco and his Roncomatic in the middle of the night, when they could be givingme my other hour and a half of WRC.
Sorry, just needed to vent.....

Brandon do you see why i hate Nascar now? I'll watch the big races like the daytona 500 and sometimes Bristol cuz thats just good racing but other than that, its all repeats of the same crap over and over again. My point is, if you watched a race of nascar and a race of australian V8 supercars (which they never show anymore), you'd be hooked.
But lets not turn this into a nascar argument. I just don't like it as much as most people and thats just my opinion because i am a hardcore road racing fan. So back to the show pinks.........

FWIW, Australian V8 supercars has been shown on Speed during the Nascar "off" season. So maybe starting in November, it'll be back on....
