I like the look of the GT500 Spoiler and want it for my Stang, but the 3d Carbon on piece (3d500 i think) is 200 bucks cheaper. They say they are an copy of the gt500 but from the pics it looks like the gt500 extend further of the trunk. Is this the case or is just the angle of the pics.

Thanks

You might also consider the difference in fit and finish. I just got a Shelby spoiler from a dealer on ebay for about $400 shipped. The owner of the body shop that painted it was very impressed with the finish. Factory primed and not a blemish. He charged $88.00 to paint it. He said that most aftermarket spoilers usually require some work and usually gets $150 - $250 to paint them depending on the amount of work they require.

Also, the factory spoiler mounts to the decklid with 4 bolts. The 3dCarbon pieces uses two bolts and tape. There have been people on other forums that have had problems with the front of the spoiler coming unattached because the tape failing. Maybe it was the tape, maybe it was the install, but I would prefer having parts fully bolted to the car and not half & half.
