Ive finally put together my stang, And am having some driveability problems with it. So i went to talk to my neighbor and hes a mechanic about what the problem is. i told he wat i did to the motor (car). this is what i did.
-2000 moutaineer block, with P heads and intakes. (swapped a E cam in there)
-1993 MAF sensor, with 93 eec (for manual tranny)
-rest of car is 88' GT (wire harness, pullys, tb, etc.)
He gave me a f***ed up look after i told him that, because he wanted to hook a computer up to it and get the codes, but didnt know what for, a 93? a 88?.
Am i correct as to you cant hook up a obd to that 88gt car? I know you can read the codes somehow with a test light, but is there another way?
also, Can you check fuel pressure without car running? What should it be? is a stock fuel pump suffecient for those mods?
