Differential question?

Ihave a 69 ford f-100 with a Ford 9 inch,installed a 302 with Aod tranny.It has like 3.93 gears .Even in overdrive doesnt doesnt cruise at very low rpm.My 69 mustang has a 9 inch with 2.76 gears .Was thinking of swapping the two.The truck is just a cruiser no hauling ,and would like to get the rpm down.What problems would I have with a swap? 75 mustang II

As long as both have the same spline-count axles, it's a straight forward swap. You'll just need new carrier gaskets. Pull the axles, then the "chunk" and swap them. You may also want to replace the copper washers under the carrier nuts. You can order these thru your local Ford dealer's parts dept.

You'll need to swap yokes on the pumpkins.
