im having a lot of trouble comparing my track times with previous times slips that i have. maybe some of u can help me. the problem is that the previous tracks i ran at were either 1/4mile tracks, or full 1/8th mile tracks, and the track here is like 66ft short of a full 1/8th or something like that. so i cant really compare my "1/8th" mile time on my recent slips to my old ones b/c its not really a full 1/8th. im trying to figure out how much i really gained from the cam swap. the only thing i feel like i can safely go by is the "et @ 594ft" line. since i have that line from both 1/8th mile tracks. but it doesnt give a trap speed. on the full 1/8th track, my best 594ft was a 8.85 with a 2.1 60ft, friday night my best 594ft was a 8.05 with a 2.2 60 ft. i know i know, crappy 60ft times but im on ****ty street tires b/c someone stole my 15" wheels i was going to put et streets on. so anyway, can anyone out there maybe compare their time slips with the 594ft line that has a close 60ft to mine and see what i would have ran in a full 1/8th so i can gauge how much i picked up from the cam swap? i seriously doubt i picked up 0.8 just from that. i wonder what that would equate to in the 1/4? looking back at my old 1/4 mile slips( before cams), if i compare my slips between spraying the car and not spraying the car, i ran a 13.75 @ 101 on motor with a 2.0 60ft and a 8.8 @ 80 in the 1/8th. now spraying the car (suppose to be a 100 shot wet) the same day at that track i ran a 12.8 @ 110 with a 2.0 60ft and a 8.3 @ 87 in the 1/8th. so i picked up 0.5 in the 1/8th and 0.9 by the 1/4 mark. so there is no way that just cams alone could have made me pick up 0.8 by the 594ft mark. thats more than the nitrous did. something doesnt add up, or im just looking at it all wrong.

Do you have a good 1/4 mile track that you can go to....?....its hard to compare at different lengths and what not....slow at the front doesnt always mean slow at the end ya know?

My 2 pennies are that you spend a night, or if ya can a couple days at a 1/4 mile track to...(no pun intended)...track your times....
