Hey folks,

2 questions, first one is the title...I saw some crossmembers on eBay and it looks like there is rubber in there that can wear out....am I seeing things????? I would check my car now but it is 100 miles away...

second question is confirmation about the crossmember change for a T5 swap...I have searched and read the many many posts and it seems as if the AOD crossmember can be re-used by moving a couple items around, but for $30 a T5 crossmember might be a big time saver...what do you all think????

Yes, crossmembers have two rubber bushings per side. Do they wear out before the car does? Generally not.

Not for sure on the differences on the crossmember. It's nice to just bolt things in rather than having to change them around to fit though.
