My car actually grabs very close to the floor, but it has never been right. Car was an AOD that we swapped a T5 in, and for some reason never felt like a stock T5 equipped car. Maybe thats why my dads 91 was easier to shift when stock?

I just find it weird when a 13.9 car running 98 mph cant hook through 3rd, and my 12.0 car running 107 mph spins only a little (at the track, the street is another story)!
Im glad Im the one hooking,!
The 90 I never power shift. It's got a POS T-5 with 108,000 miles on it!
I granny shift, it's my daily driver. I had to tighten my clutch cable and it sits high now, if i loosen it any more the clutch forks starts to vibrate and make lots of noise. Anybody know why that happens?
Had the same problem. The throwout bearing was toast.
