I agree, I'd be interested in the UPR rears depending on what shocks they can fit.

We actually offer two options for bolt on coilovers in the Fox Body Mustangs.
One style is the sleeved coilover setup like this:

The aluminum sleeve slips over the shocks. We have this setup for Strange, Lakewood, and stock shocks.
The other style setup is what you'd call a true coilover, like this:

With this setup (like the used QA1s the OP already picked up) the shock body itself is threaded, so the springs are thread directly onto the shocks with the adjusting collars. It's quite nice, but it's more money than the coilovers sleeve style.

Hey Sharad, just want to clarify, it's the same kit for Strange, Lakewood, and stock shocks right? So say if I want to put the kit on stock shocks and upgrade to Strange shocks later on I wont need to buy a new kit correct? COUNT ME IN!!

We have a different part number for the Strange and Lakewood. I believe the stock shocks fit the Lakewood kit. I'll PM you my cell number, and if you have more specific questions you can let me know.

well considering there most expensive kits are $469 id be willing to bet it would be less then that hell i would be willing to spend more if the product was good and of quality
Hey guys dumb question on the rear coil overs. When you go to coilovers must you keep lower control arms? Or do the lower control arms no longer serve any purpose? I am wondering if I go with rear coilovers if I can sell my upr adjustable lower control arms and springs, and throw my stock lower control arms with no springs on just so that I can keep the sway bar. Or if I will still be benefiting from the upr adjustables.

yeah you still have to keep LCAs but they dont hold the spring anymore. you could sell them and still use some form of upgraded LCA just doesnt need to be ride height adjustable. but length adjustable will still help
well my upr adjustables don't adjust the height of the spring, they are adjustable where it mounts to the chasis so they adjust the position of the axle. So I should keep them you are saying?

well if your wanting to reinstall your sway bar then youll need to change it out since they dont look to have anywhere to attach the sway bars too. im sure someone will want those if you decide to sell or heck even trade just keep in mind you will no longer need the spring purch
the rear UPRs will go on the shock like any coil over
the UPR lower arms you have will still serve a purpose since it will hold the axle in location and wont have deflection like the stock stuff does.

You talking about the rear? I know my car doesnt need coilovers, but I want to be able to adjust the height. I am still considering going with weight jackers in the rear, but the price is about the same anyways...

Yea sorry I am talking about the rear. How much are you looking to adjust it? As in just lower the rear of the car? I cut 3/4 of a coil out of stock ones for my car and it sit perfect. Until I put a weight ballast in the trunk so I had to put uncut ones in.
