Does this sound like a good combo?

A 302 with an E303 cam, aluminum GT40 heads, 1.6 FMS roller rockers, typhoon upper and lower, 70mm TB, 77mm Maf, 24# injectors, plus the other typical boltons (pulleys, exhaust, etc.)?

I sure hope so, cuz I'm building it now for the 90 GT. Think it'll get into high 12's with ET Drags, 3.73's and a T5?

Looks like a pretty decent combo. Which Aluminum GT-40 heads are you getting? There's GT40Y and GT40X. With those parts I think you could get into the high 12's, but it won't be super easy, you'll have to at least drive decent. You'd probably be looking at 260-280 rwhp.

Is the typhoon intake a 70mm to match the TB? If so you should have a screamer on ur hands. Personally I would have went 65mm with a cobra but i'm all about the torque. Your combo will definately have some top end to it, which is where are cars are weakest. Good luck and let us know what times you run.

I've gone 12's with a lot less and I know there are a lot of guys here on Stangnet that have too. Tuning is really important. If you get it to run right it should be a breeze. Depending on which GT40's your getting, the typhoon might be a bit much with an e cam. No worries though. It's a good intake and if it hurts ya at all you probably won't be able to tell at the strip- only on the road at lower rpms.
