DOHC swap advice

Hey, i was hoping someone could give me some advice before i decide to do this, i have a 99 GT that is about to turn 170,000, nothing wrong with the motor still runs stong, but im wanting to replace it. A guy up the road has a 4.6 Dohc motor out of a Lincoln Mark VIII, he is going to include ECU, any wiring, all accesories, altenator a/c, and so on, and has less that 100,000, not sure on what year. i can get the whole thing for 600, and i was wondering if it is even worth it or should i just build me a stout SOHC? i know i will prob need a ECU for a manual, but ima get a tr-3650 to replace my t-45, and i was wondering if i could use a cobra intake and what all i would have to get to put this in my car i plan on running nitrous either way at the track, any advice is appriciated, thanks

I hate to say it but DOHC > SOHC all day. Even though I love my 2v

get the motor, but build the bottom end of it up. the mark motors are kinda ****ty IMO. i think the heads flow a little different also.
