im recently purchased a 89 gt. it has a 306,e cam,70tb.75maf,gt40p heads 24 lb injectors,full exhaust only thing still stock is fuel regulator,pump and intake manifold oh yeah stock 3.08 gears.it feels like a dog my 2000 gt auto vert is alot faster.i am new to the sight any help would be great.
I would definatly start off with getting some gears. If its an Auto get either 4.10's or if you are a little more ballsy 4.30's. Then go out and get yourself a fuel pressure regulator and gauge,this way you can dial it in a little better. I would also look to make sure that the mass air sensor is calibrated for the injectors. If you have a little extra cash go to www.jdsperformance.com and pick yourself up a Walbro 255 fuel pump. Get a buddy to help you and the pump install is pretty self explanitory...hope that helps
