So i am going to be doing some racing this weekend. Its going to be at a ****ty track though that has really bad track prep. All other tracks are closed for the next 2 weekends.

Right now i am running sumi. htrz's for my rear tires, i cant hook them at all. I was just wondering if i should drop the presure in them at all?

Also, its only supposed to be 45 degrees, how high should i launch or role the clutch out from?

Any tips or pointers, or anything really will help me pretty much.

At a good track i run a 13.7, id atleast like to stay in the 13's. This track is such poor quality, i can hook up better on a public road! lol

Anyways, thanks!

avoid the waterbox, go around and do just enough to spin any debris off the rubber
launch around 2000-2300

Totally agree about the Sumi's. I cant get them to hook at all. That plus lowering springs don't make for a good drag setup

Don't even try for 13's, hahaha.

Sumi's arent anything good in hot weather, let alone cold weather and no prep.

Just have fun on this trip...

Thats why when i got my wheels i opted for the nitto 555's(non DR). I know nittos also aren't the best but all i hear is horror stories from Sumi owners.

i got 13.7 out of my sumi's. no water box, burn out just to clean them, launch at 1500-2000 rpm.
