I have a 2002 mustang convertible. The driverside mirror when the car is moving shakes. Just the mirror itself shakes and vibrates. Its annoying as hell because it makes it completely useless. The passenger side mirror is fine, it stays solid- unlike the driverside mirror which when the car gos over the slightest crack or bump it wiggles-shakes-vibrates. This also occurs when the radio is cranked up too. How do I fix this, or can I fix this- without having to buy a whole new mirror.

REMEMBER ITS JUST THE MIRROR ITSELF THAT SHAKES AND VIBRATES "THE GLASS"

ANY HELP WOULD BE WOUNDERFUL.:)

Well yeah, its gonna shake when the music is cranked. It almost seems as if the adjustment cable is loose. I know that was a issue with another stang owner I know. He ended up having to replace the mirror. I'd scour the junkyards as he was able to pick up a good replacement for 30 bucks.

Do you have a manual mirror or an electric one? The mirror might be loose on its mounting bracket, or might just have some slop in the adjustment mechanism. Maybe move the mirror up, down, left, and right as far as it will go, and see if that tightens it up. If that doesn't do it, you might try taking it apart to see if anything is loose, or just replace it.

My driverside mirror does the same thing, but a deer ran into the side of my car about 5 years ago knocking the mirror off so I had to get a cheap autozone replacement.

But yeah. Turn the volume down ;)
