speed on outside detroit interstates

out sidedetroit speed limit is 70,traffic flows at 80[no sh--]you are considered speeding at 83 to 85...I 96 eastbound in morning traffic will move at 90 before it hits the bottlenecks..we are talking pickups ,suvs,compacts..every thing is movin fast

There was a wreck in Penn state that caused 44 cars to crash and left 6 dead... you don't get another quarter in life... use the one you have wisely... be safe, race on race tracks and dragstrips - or from a traffic light to about 60.... races are won on take offs to 60 feet mostly...

Still, I wouldn't push your luck. MSP or one of the local units sitting on an on-ramp are going to eventually tag you if you plan on hovering between 90MPH -110 MPH. Keep it around 80 MPH like everyone else on the morning commute and "don't be that guy" who has to set the pace at 100+ MPH. You can usually get away with that stuff on E-696, but it's not a good idea to try that stuff on E-96.

Best solution: Get up a few minutes earlier in the morning if you find yourself running into morning rush-hour traffic. It will help you be on time for work & you won't have to bother with trying to bob & weave through morning traffic.

As far as mods go, there's plenty of things you can do to your '94 5.0 engine in order to beef up the horsepower & torque...I'm sure some of the 94/95 guys will chime in. Keep the shiny side up.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
