Dude with Black GT with the fins on the roof.

I dont even know why I bother on this forum.......

Maybe if I put Cobra wheels and cobra brakes with a saleen wing on the back, loose the fins, keep the stock interior then I too can fit right in with you guys. Whatever happened to being original?????? Anything you people see that every mustang doent have, you have to bash it. Buy your Brembos if you think they are so great, just stop hating on stuff I've done to my car. I could cut the jealosy with a knife on this forum it's so thick.

Not everyone here is like that. I for one, like your car, there's things about it that you don't see every day. I know there are others here that feel that way also.

Don't let a few douches scare you off.

Your cool, so is Epik. The people know who they are. And Im not going to get scared away, it just bothers me that originality seems to get no credit on this forum. And if I asked people their opinions, thats one thing, but when I ask a question and all I get is tool bags ridiculing stuff I've done to my car, it pisses me off.

Thanks man... :DFor what its worth, I really dig your car alot, especially the wheels. They are the nicest, & the most uncommon wheels on this site IMO...

What seats do you have again?

Corbeau FX1 pros for now......

Been trying to find a set of '00 Cobra R Recaro's for the past 2 years. Also looking at a set of Sparco's too. Probubly this winter I will be doing more to my car. Just got done installing a Spec billitt steel flywheel, Fidanza 2.1 clutch, Maximum Motorsports cable, adjuster and quadrant, 3.73's, Yukon axles, TA differential cover, and a Maximum Motorsports stearing shaft.

i think your car is far from original....if anything, its unique man, and thats exactly why i love your car. and as far as ur brakes, looks or performance, looks killer, and which brings me to my next point....

why is brembo so much better...i mean, if we really break it down, isnt it same chit different name.

Cool... That's a nice pile o' parts... Any pics of the seats?

BTW, this is off topic, but I just picked these up for $65 @ the local pick-n-pull:D They were out of a 91 VW GTI...

Although they are in great shape, I am gonna recover them in black & red & install em' in my 91....

It's the internet man, you'll see a lot of people with nothing nice to say. I like your car a lot, shows originality and good taste :nice:

yukon gear & axle, not yukon the suv.......

correct.

Justin, those seats are a steal for $65. It might cost a little bit to get them recovered, but they should look pretty sick in the notch. Would be nice if they were the same style as the '86 GT seats, and you could use the netted headrest:D I dont have any pics of my seats on my computer right now, but I'll take some tomorrow for ya, just cuz I like ya:nice:

LOL, u mean Dustin, not Justin... :D

Yup, it will cost a bit, but will still most likely be cheaper than buying new recaros or Cobeau's, plus most of those arent available in the exact shade of red that is in my 91... I just need to figure out what type of material I am gonna use. I might go with black leather outer, with a red suede insert, or maybe all leather, or all cloth??? Not too sure yet...

Netted 86 GT/Saleen headrests are definitely sick, but most likely wont fit... Saleens had flowfit seats back then...

That would be cool if you could take pics...Thanks bro...:nice:

My bad bro:rlaugh: Those would look killer in your car in the black leather with red suede inserts. Are you getting rid of the back seat in the car? Cuz you could have them wrap those panels in matching material when you do the seats. And it would be much cheaper for them to wrap a flat piece than to try and re-do the factory rear seats.

Its all good. I want to keep the rear seat. I think these cars look cleaner with a rear seat rather than a delete, plus I like having rear seats just in case I have a couple of passengers...

How do you think it would look with black & red cloth, or black leather with red cloth?

I sure hope that was not directed at me. I love your car and praised the hell out of your wheels and when you got your brakes I was one of the first to compliment them.
I started this thread cause I loved the way your brakes looked but couldnt remember what kind they were. You got a killer deal on them and that would have been a deciding factor for me too. At their regular price though I would rather get the Willwood 6 piston setup. If gonna go for it may as well go all out! :rlaugh:
I was wondering about Brembo alternatives because I know the $1300 setup can be ruined in on SCCA track event by killing the piston seals and who wants that? IDK if their system thats $200 more but the same size includes better calipers that if you blow the seals you can replace them.
So for me id eaither get the Willwood 6 pistons or the SSBC 6-piston setup :nice:

no, I understand how you feel about my car, and it wasnt directed at you either. Like I said, those people know who they are. I've heard nothing but good things about Willwoods, but Ive always viewed them for more like streetrod applications.

Dustin, this may not be your taste, but I think those seats, cost wise, would look good with the red cloth on the outside, and the black cloth on the inserts. I think it would match the interior better if you had the red on the outside.

Those pop up periodically on ebay motors. I'll keep an eye out for you.

So you have that problem too huh? I called everything, Justin, Rusty, Duffy, Dougie (wtf?), and probably a few more that I can't remember. Pretty much everything except Dusty (which I normally go by) or Dustin. To make it worse, I share the first and last names of a ZZ Top member.:nonono:
