Hi! sound pretty good, 12 initial and 34-36 total. did you change anything inside the dizzy. you can recuve it by changing how much mechanical advance get. 20 degree mechanical and you want it to come around 2500 RPM by changing the spring. here a good link Duraspark_distributor_recurve_instructions_index
