Dynamat xtreme installation questions

I'm in the process of installing the dynamat extreme door kit in my doors and have a few questions.

1) There are several 'holes' and gaps in the door, 1 big one in particular where u can see the window mechanism, etc... Should I cover this large gap (and smaller gaps) with the dynamat, or leave it uncovered and open?

2) Did you guys replace the plastic weatherguard, or does it matter (since it only covers what the dynamat will cover) ?

3) Does anyone have any pics they can post of their door after the dynamat xtreme or similar product was fully installed?

4) Does the door kit by itself make a noticable difference in our beloved mustangs?

Whether you cover that gap or not is up to you. If you ever have a problem that requires you to get back there, you'll just have to cut it out. I think for a cleaner look, I would cut the hole out.

Same thing with that plastic piece... it'll be preference. Again, it'll look cleaner (not like it matters once the door panels go back on,) without that big ugly thing.

It should cut down on road noise from the sides quite a bit. I haven't usedt he xtreme stuff, but I've dynamatted lots of friends vehicles and several of my own, and always noticed less road noise after the doors were done.
