What do you mean not getting into boost? How can you not make boost during a dyno pull?

I'd guess he just did part throttle pulls with it. Seems pretty pointless to me, but from the sounds of the story this tuner was a joke all together, he just wanted to sell you a chip and get you to spend more money. Sad thing is there are alot of shops like that around that just wanna take your money and send you on your way

Luckily, there is a well-know tuner just 3 hours south of me, just have to book it this week.

The tuner did know I was using a tweecer, gave him the heads up months ago before the build was done.

We just did some part-throttle pulls to make sure the a/f's were ok.

So in the end, if I was to pay the 7-800 dollars to get a SCT chip and tune, I'm sure I'd get the service you would expect. He sees me coming in with a good running car and a program that he doesn't care to use, thinks I wouldn't notice that I was being blown off, and thats what I get.

I have heard alot of good things about the shop, close friends have had no issues at all, even 2 with tweecers, but it was a friday, and I was treated like a Toyota built on a friday, not sure what the heck was up, but either way they won't see another cent from me!!!!

I dont want you to give out the name of the shop on here, but what state do you live in? I know of a dyno tuner that I was thinking of using, and another that is roughly 3-4 hours straight south of the first. If it is where I am thinking, then I may not waste my time at the first even though he is much closer to me.

why wouldnt you name the shop? dont let someone else go there and receive the same service. you paid him for nothing, damn near let him steal from you.

+1

If you get good service from someone, you let other people know so they can go and support the business, too. Likewise, if you get bad service, you need to warn others. You can't let this shop keep riding on his "good reputation" if this is how he's going to treat paying customers.
