i'm about 2 weeks out from my christmas bonus. so i'm finalizing my engine combo on this 302, i've been trying to decide if these two things are worthwhile. so i'm looking for some dyno sheets maybe, or factual info...

not someone saying, "just do it, there worth it".

my combo is this; original casting tfs heads, 1.7 rr, tfs stage 1, either street or track tfs intake (75mm opening), 70MM TB, 77mm maf, 4" anderson na pipe, bbk equal lengths, o/r h, magnaflow catback, e-fan, 4:10's, manual.

i shift the car at 6k usually, and i get into the higher rpm's easier with my 4:10's. so with that info, i also like/want driveability. right now, i dont hit exhaust on bumps, don't heatsoak my starter, ect.

so 75mm tb swap and lt's. done individually or together, what gains can i expect? i will be going in for a dyno tune around christmas time, possibly sooner. so everything will be optimized.

75tb is a waste since you have a 70 already. Longtubes would be a good move and will give you more avg power across the powerband.

ok thanks.
i'm still debating the lt's heavily. in my searching, i ran into some posts of yours actually. regarding the clearance/heat/issues with spacing issues on the lt's.

i might just have to bite the bullet.

I had 2 sets of bbk longtubes on my old car. They fit great and I didn't have any problems. You just need to open up the collector a the end where it necks down with a grinder.
