dyno tune ?

I just installed stage 3 blower cams to the mods I have in my signature,who here in washington is most trusted and know their s***T. I have the chip supplied by Kb,car idles,slight tip in issues but otherwise I can drive to where I need to go.
I will be installing an sct ba2400 at the location.

do I need to buy another chip or do they remove the one I have and flash the stock computer? I am looking for a conservative tune(stock block) not over say 420rwhp. I heard hp Ranch is good,how is he with KB's?

John prefers Diablo(last time I was there), but he can tune with SCT. Do you have a handheld tuner or just a burned chip? I don't think John has the software to burn SCT chips. But you could e-mail him and ask him.

all I have is the chip supplied by KB,i am pretty sure it is an sct chip but I heard they prevent you from modifying it.I don't have a handheld of any make

Chung at Blue Oval/all ford performance tunes with SCT& Diablo. If I remember correctly the KB chip can't be modified so you will probabley need another.

Who tuned your car? i think I remember yours with a different blower and cams,could be mistaken thou

John tunes with SCT switches. He sold me one.

I have had both Chung and Jon from KKP tune it. KKP moved out here to the west side so they are more convenient for me. I had the KB 1.7 prior to the 2.6. I upgraded after busting a rod about a year ago.

well it's either chug at blue oval or John at hpranch then.leaning towards John because he's closer and the less I drive without a tune the better. I e-mailed him to find out when he's avail.

Any body know what the approx. cost might be? I know it is charged by time spent,just curious what his average time is to tune

edit... got e-mail from John--$150 an hour,about 2 hours plus $380 for the tuner.just working on time that fits our schedules,
