friday morning, i took the day off from school so i could bring my car down to the dyno shop in tacoma. a few performance mechanics and good friends pointed me to Turbo Technologies down in tacoma. aparently they have two guys who are awesome with carbs.
1030 am : drop the car off with carb in passenger seat.
(kill some time while parts are ordered to get demon where it needs to be)
1130 am : mustang ranch in eatonville.
a mustang specific wrecking yard-ish where i found an 82 gt with a full factory black interior. someone was cool when they ordered theirs, it's black on black. there is a LOT of stuff i'm going to take from this car. too bad it's front clip is destroyed on the bottom.
230 pm : parts still not arrived at turbo tech.
with nothing to do, went to the south hill mall, and remembered why there's a police station inside the mall. if you dont know, there are the SEXIEST 14-17 year old girls, EVERYWHERE. its really messed up how much ******** there is in there. and with it being a friday and school getting out. the place FLOODED!
430 pm : parts still not arrived, baseline not achieved.
no car today, time to go home.
absolutely being KILLED by the suspense. i want numbers! i also wish i had installed all of my electric accessories. waterpump, fan.
i'll probably be claying the motor in the next couple weeks also. the aluminum heads are calling me from within my storage unit...
