Easiest way to get into the 13's NA

My car is completely stock aside from a densecharger cai and 14* timing, without replacing the intakes heads or cam or using a blower what would be the best way to get it to run high 13's. Its an auto btw. I plan to put an offroad pipe, flowmaster american thunder cat back, 3.45's or 3.73's and im not sure what else from there.

Not that easy to get into the 13s with those few mods with an auto. I had CAI, catback, edelbrock performer, 3.73s when i hit 13.9@100.
No ****ing way. I virtually have the same setup, and I still think im in the high 14's. Then again I never took it to the track.

Definitely going to need drag radials or else you dont have an ice cubes chance in hell. A stall converter would be great but even if you dont have one you need to learn to launch it hard while basically doing a brake stand. When I launched mine to my best times the rear wheels where spinning at the line just barely. You need at least 3.73's. I'd say full exhuast, CAI, MAF, UD pullies, and a lot of practice will get you close.

Raod runna are you 5 speed or auto? If you are an auto then you're probably mid/high 14's, but if your 5 speed you need to learn how to drive, or get better tires.

How can you say you run high 14's if you never took it to the tracK?

Their's a warehouse parking lot near, A friend of mines timed 2 laps of mines. I know it isn't a track, but I figured I would be in the mid 14's when I take it to the track.

BTW, it is an Automatic :(

Time to get a stall converter.

You would have done better to say you tested with a G-Tech than they way you did. Take it to a track and post a FULL timeslip with 60ft, 330ft, 1/8 mile, etc. THEN we can help you. While many cars are the same, each has it's own personality. Some have better compression, some are old and tired. We need to see a timeslip and to read how the car felt going down the track and how you drove it... launch tech, shift points, etc.

Could save you some money on this guessing game.

Sorry to dispute ya man, but i ran 14.8@ 95 bone stock. Then i got gears and a catback and was going 14.30s @96.90. Then i put on the Edelbrock and CAI and hit a best 13.92 @100.01, 2.12 60ft if i remember right. I averaged 14.0s but when i could get if off the line i would hit a 13. This was also on 225 street tires with the stock waffles.

Damn Whitedevil what track did you run those times on? I might need to take a trip to San Diego.

Well sadly i ran all my times at Carlsbad Raceway. Traction was tricky but its only like 250ft above sea level. So it was a good track. But it was just shut down last week and bull dosed, the land was bought out and is now gonna be developed. Im just glad i got to get out there and hit my 12s on the last day the track was open. R.I.P. Carlsbad Raceway.
