Edelbrock 65mm TB doesn't fit air tube?

I searched but didn't find anything.

I have a 1990 Mustang LX 7-up with the AOD.

Does anybody have the Edelbrock 65mm throttle body that worked with the factory air tube? My air tube will not fit over the throttle body. Do you have to get a different tube?

The tube in question runs from the throttle body to the mass air. Any help would be great. Thanks

If it is the stock rubber inlet tube it has a rivet in the clamp that keeps the clamp and tube together. Remove the rivet and force it on. This seem to fix my issues.

It should fit just fine. It might take a little bit to work it on there but it will fit.

I have the stock one on my 70mm t-body so I know your 65mm one will work. I had to shave out some of the inside of my intake tube but it did fit....finally

my 65 fit fine. isnt the overall diameter the same in the inlet is where the bigger size comes in?
