edelbrock and BBK?? together?

This is a question i've had since i've had my car for 3 years, just never got around to it....My 65mm throttle body, (which was already installed) has both Edelbrock and BBK logos engraved on it. really weird and random anyone know?

I think back in the day BBK might have been owned by Edelbrock or something and they put both names on it. Now they are separate. I could be wrong. anyone else know for sure?
