edelbrock and BBK?? together?

This is a question i've had since i've had my car for 3 years, just never got around to it....My 65mm throttle body, (which was already installed) has both Edelbrock and BBK logos engraved on it. really weird and random anyone know?

My 70mm TB and Spacer have Edelbrock, and BBK engraved as well.

Maybe an Edelbrock Performer and a BBK Cold Air Intake hired Chuck Norris as a Justice of the Peace and made your throttle body on the wedding night

I think back in the day BBK might have been owned by Edelbrock or something and they put both names on it. Now they are separate. I could be wrong. anyone else know for sure?
