EEC IV/ twEECer kind of Question?

Im not sure if this post belongs here, so forgive me if its in the wrong place.

My timing is advanced to 14*

I am having a chip burned that will advance timing based on spark tables from a twEECer file based on the J4J1 computer.

SHould I return my timing to 10* and let the chip do the work?

they should probably tell you to do that but just in case do it and also ask. from what im told, chips and tuner programs are usually based off of stock functions and thats 10*

Do you know if the J4J1 is based at 10* That is the base tune I am using on my revolution masterchip.
