Im going to delete my EGR crap while i'm putting on a bullitt intake. I'm trying to get to the EGR nut on my bassani headers, whats the easiest way to get at it, from topside or underneath? (BTW Doing it at home with jack/jackstands only, no lift )
I don't have first hand experience, but I've heard that they difficult to get off. Sometimes, they will actually break instead of coming off because they have cold welded onto the manifold.
i had a hell of a time getting it disconnected but after alot of PB blaster and the right size open head wrench, it broke loose. i had my k member dropped at the time so it was a little easier than from the underside. just be patient with it and spray the hell out it
I'll give it a shot tonite. I was looking at it last nite, and i might be able to get at it with the front wheel off and if i also pull out the fender liner.
I really hope mine isnt stuck on too tight, my headers have only been on for about 3K miles.
