i am wiring a 91 cougar HO motor (looks identical to the 94-95 mustang intake)into my ranger 4x4 and am wondering about the EGR. some guys use them when doing swaps, others dont. what are the pro's and con's of both ways? other than notching my heater box yet again for clearing something else, and plumbing the egr tube to my passenger manifold, its not an issue.... but i am wondering how the motor will run without it. i was wanting to keep all emission stuff but the smog pump and its associated crap. if i go without it, what do i do with the wiring that went to it? thanks!
