anyone know the general life expectancy on these? or which brand lasts the longest? do any let you retain heat?

I don't remember the hour/numbers off the top of my head, but IIRC Meziere electric water pumps have a longer life expectancy than most mechanical pumps.

I've had a CSR for about 2 years now and I haven't had any problems with it.. here in north jersey traffic it cools better then because it doesn't rely on the rpm's..
