You are going to have an issue, the 05 mustang is set up for drive by wire so you'll have to fabricate linkage from the pedal to the throttle body.

Why not just build the 05 motor to the power level you want??? Seems kinda silly to do all that fab work

Sell the cobra and SC and build up the 3v, in time this engine will be the mustang baseline.

I KNOW why...

We are in with the SVTOA, and have verified that engine is a TUNER engine, capable of 800 HP. All forged, and that said, why it now uses an iron block. No Hyperutetic pistons and powdered and cracked rods...

Good news? BBK just released a larger electronic TB for the 05. I have no details on it yet, but know these engines RESPOND to more airflow!

Bad news? To make this swap work, you will need to revert to the '04 PCM and harness, as well as all accessories. In addition, tuners are having a hard enough time with successful flatline tunes for the 05 PCM for supercharging. ALOT of time is going into that, across the country, and across the brands of blowers and tuning software. New stuff needs a learning curve.

I will say I have learned many TRIX along the way... Just since January (We do SCT on ours).

Find a wrecked donor, and grab the pieces (Harnesses and so on). Then contact one of my FORD parts GODS to get you the part numbers you need. We have done MANY Lightning engine swaps into standard F-150s, and here is ONE of the BEST resources in the F-150 application. Same nuts and bolts, just a couple of extra cams right?

Contact Mike Dunn (AKA MadFerrariSTI) at www.madenterprise.com/f-150.htm . He has THE most comprehensive component list, and while it applies to the F-150 / Lightning swap, he WILL be able to help you source parts or SOMETHING. Definitely worth the call, but be sure you tell him Crash sent ya. He is a great guy, and IF he cannot help, he will not BS ya. I have a feeling he will be able to offer you at least ONE piece of info that will help you.
