Engine Explode

hello I have a 98 gt with 85 K miles all stock parts pretty much and I have never taken it to 6000 rpms because im afraid somethings gunna happen that is bad. Am I worrying for nothing the highest I have taken it is 5500 rpms.

an also can anyone tell me the power bands for a stock 98 gt thank you

You wont make any power past 5500 newayz.

82k miles here...

take it to 6k all the time .. its easy to get there with 410s

had my Gt at 104k ad revved it a few times till 6k....nothing bad ever happened....

I have hit the rev limiter a few times... nothing has happened except it tripped the mil a few times... nothing but an easy fix with the snap-on modis.
