I have made I bet with my dad that I could build an engine to out run his Cobra his is down waiting to be built. I am going to take my time. He's building it to hold a tri-power intake. I know he knows how. Help me guys tell me the best bang and power for dollar.... i know the more money the faster you go....I ain't no millionaire. I love my car. What would you guys recommend from top to bottom?? And complimenting Exhaust. Appriciate It.
 
460ci, forged internals, custom solid roller cam, very large intake, and carb, twin turbo, 250 shot, 3" open exhaust, and a strawberry air freshner.

Knowing what kind of cobra this is may help....

Wow that combo should cost about 350$ if you buy it all on ebay, Hell I think you can buy a twin turbo kit now for 200 bucks but shipping is 800 from china :shrug: I dunno



if it were me and I was your age I would sell the mustang and every time you think you would buy something for the car buy some Gold shares. Right now I would have about 50K+++ in gold and I wouldn't be depressed all the time about my car not running
 
Nah the mustang ain't leaving my possession.... had that mistake with my father.... Sold his 77 Cobra 2.... Just for Mustang 5L5 It's a 78 cobra 2.... I'm not planning on spray.... that's an option in my eyes and my father and I... the agreement said nothing like spary ether injection...blah blah. Keep up to a super charger at most but.... Wanna keep everything under the hood no one needs to see what I got. Time frame may take me a few years to save and complete. So I mean no biggie on time just wanna know what a can plan on and budget.
 
Also for strtcr50 my dad has his 302 single holley 650 double pumper carbed 289 pistons, connecting rods, 302 heads 3 angel valve job, and most radical cam for his block 280 lift 280 duration?? He did run 11's I know I could make way more than that with this thing not to mention the weight difference!!

351, h.c.i., and a b&g turbo kit should cover anything he does. If he bitches about a turbo, do a ysi trim vortech instead..
